FIVE ON / ONE OFF

This is the perfect challenge for those looking to build and maintain a consistent running routine. Run three miles every day for five days, then on the sixth day take a rest day to let your muscles recover. If you repeat this routine all the way through the 40 day challenge period, you’ll smash past your 100 mile goal on World Homeless Day.

FEAT OF ENDURANCE

If you’re a more experienced runner looking to test your stamina, you could split the distance into four 25 mile runs across the 40 days. That’s nearly a whole marathon every 10 days! You could even try to achieve a new PB across each run, a real feat of endurance for even the most seasoned distance runners.

SPLIT THE DISTANCE

Team up with some friends to keep yourself motivated and accountable. Split the 100 miles between you and plan to go for group runs together throughout the 40 day challenge. You could use a fitness app like Strava to track your progress and total team distance. Arrange your final run for the final day of the challenge on World Homeless Day, 10th October, celebrating your fantastic achievement all together.
