The Edinburgh Village relocation
In summer 2025, the Edinburgh Village will move to a new location on the Granton Waterfront, proving our innovative model using ‘meanwhile’ land works. We’re taking the opportunity to refresh the community hub building and add seven redesigned Nest Houses.
The South Lanarkshire Village
The South Lanarkshire Village will replicate the successful model of the Edinburgh Social Bite Village. In addition to the Nest Houses, there will also be a large Community Hub where residents can cook, eat, and socialise together. The Hub is also the base for training and support activities, all of which are designed to empower residents to improve their lives and break the cycle of homelessness.
The Bill Sword Social Bite Recovery Village
The village in Dundee will adapt the Social Bite village model to create a residential recovery facility for people struggling with addiction. With support from WM Sword Charitable Trust, Social Bite is working to deliver a compassionate therapeutic community in partnership with local services.
