Social Bite partners with Powering Futures to inspire the next generation

What is Powering Futures?

Powering Futures is a forward-thinking social enterprise that empowers young people with essential, future-proof skills in innovation, problem solving, networking and sustainability. They’re all about creating the workforce of the future by equipping today’s students with the tools they need to create a sustainable and prosperous economy.

The innovative Schools Challenge Programme engages pupils in hands-on learning, where they tackle real-world sustainability challenges. The questions are set by industry leaders like Social Bite to create a pipeline of talented, skilled young people ready to drive a more sustainable and inclusive economy.

How are Social Bite and Powering Futures working together?

Social Bite will set a unique challenge in up to 10 schools in Edinburgh and the Lothians. Students will brainstorm and develop creative solutions to help further the mission to end homelessness. By engaging young people with the issue of homelessness, we hope to inspire a new generation of social entrepreneurs.
