Social Bite Glasgow is NOW OPEN!
We are so excited to announce that our brand new coffee shop at 10 Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow is officially open! Pop in for a cup of coffee that fuels more than just your day and some good food for a good cause.
Located just by Buchanan Galleries on the city’s busy Sauchiehall Street, our new coffee shop boasts an impressive menu to whet the appetite of Glaswegians including homemade bagels, toasties and artisan baking. Coffee-lovers will be treated to organic, fairtrade triple certified beans from renowned roaster Matthew Algie, with all members of the shop’s team undergoing Barista training at the Matthew Algie Coffee School to ensure the perfect blend is served.
Our new Glasgow location will offering training and employment opportunities to people in a situation of homelessness and, of course, our signature “Pay It Forward” system where you can buy a meal or hot drink for someone in need. This will power our free daily food services for people who are vulnerable or affected by homelessness throughout the week. As with all Social Bite Coffee Shops, 100% of the profits from Glasgow will be reinvested into our mission of ending homelessness.
Our Co-Founder Josh Littlejohn MBE said: “We are thrilled to open our new flagship coffee shop in the heart of Glasgow. I really see this as venture as the new blueprint for our social enterprise business model – offering the best-in-class food, coffee and environment for our customers to enjoy, whilst also making a massive difference to people in a situation of homelessness in the city. I would encourage all Glaswegians to come and enjoy some great coffee and food for themselves and to Pay It Forward for someone in need. We can’t wait to welcome you in.”
Our Commercial and Operations Director, Melanie Swan said: “Our new Glasgow location really is your one stop shop to enjoy authentic, Glaswegian sweet treats, hot food and quality coffee. We’ve taken a lot of time to put together our menu, ensuring we’re working with some of the best local brands and people who believe in and support our mission.

The Glasgow shop will be open Monday to Friday 7am – 7pm, and Saturdays and Sundays 8am – 6pm. We can’t wait to welcome you through our doors, see you soon!
